Larkins Bar & Restaurant, Garrykennedy, has made it into the Michelin ‘Eating out in Pubs 2008’ Guide. It isone of only sixteen Irish Pubsfeatured in the 550 best dining Pubs in Britain and Ireland.

The crucial factor for selection in the guide is the quality of the food served. Michelin inspectors ensure that every pub listed reaches the requested gastronomic standards.

This istruly a great achievementfor this owner/managed premises. Only in business since March 2006 Maura and Cormac Boyle and their Head Chef, Ms. Olive Hickey have steered Larkins towardsgood food and top class hospitality.

This couple were also recently accepted into the Good Food Ireland circle.

Larkinscommitment to sourcing as much Irish Local foods as possiblewas a definite criteria in receiving this accolade.

Larkins have also this year been recipients of the highly desirable recommendation by the well known Georgina Campbell’s Guide.

Maura and Cormac, local Garrykennedy residents bought Larkins in 2006. Their aim is to present the best of Tipperary hospitality and food to both the local and the many visitors to the region.

Larkins attract functions and groups from a 40 mile radius.

The Boyle Family has successfully turned the business into one ofTipperary’s premier Food and Music venues.
